Located within the Rizal Park in Manila, Philippines inside the National Museum complex, there’s nothing shabby about the National Museum of the Filipino People.  If anything, it is enormous, spacious, and curated with significant pieces from our Philippine history and culture.  We got the feeling of meeting our ancestors through photos of them fully dressed in Mindanao patterns and embroidered bags.

The museum showcased an intensive array of different local tribes and their lifestyles. Particularly highlighted are the unique crafts and traditions of each indigenous group which we hope would be treasured and pursued for growth and sustainability.

It was movingly beautiful to see the ingenuity and creativity of our ancestors to be able to produce different products for function, ornaments, and or ceremonial using locally available materials and with only by their own hands.
