What is ‘Art’ in terms of your chosen career?

ART in the modelling/ Fashion industry is a very big deal. A certain piece of clothing, a full set or accessory takes a lot of creativity to put together. To top off the whole project, you would need to book a human to model to bring your vision and creations to life. That's when it all counts! I as a model have to have a certain artistic approach. We must understand what type of brand, project, moodboard, season, collection we are modelling for to provide the best quality of service and portrayal we could offer to the client. We have to learn how to collaborate with the whole team, Ie Director, Photographer, Stylist, etc when everything comes together. That's when you know it's a wrap! That to me is Art, when all creative minds tag team on a project basically, to produce sick stuff.

ART to me is creating and expressing something depending on how you feel, using your imagination on a daily basis taking inspiration from everyday life - past, present, future.

How does creativity lead your life?

Creativity to me is every second of a minute. From the moment I wake up and get up from bed, creativity kicks in. Example, from making up my bed, sheets, pillows. We are a little creatively obsessed with that, making sure we fix it up in an orderly or beautifully weird way to make it look like a showroom type of bedroom. Cozy vibes! Nothing beats a comfy bedroom, it should always be given the TLC it needs. So that every time you enter your room or when it's time to go to bed at night. You know deep in your soul that you are diving into the clouds of comfort.

Next up, Kitchen. Cooking is another creative outlet, from cooking up new found recipes from a magazine and re-upping it with a few spices or left over veggies in the fridge, from setting up the dining table with cool plates, cutleries, sexy glasses for drinking etc. Man you'll feel like you're in a Michelin star restaurant in the comfort of your own home having a lovely meal overlooking your beautiful garden. Then creativity goes on and on and on throughout the day. :)

Where and how do you get inspired?

I take inspiration everywhere! Past, present, future and then mixing them all up together in different orders. LOL.

From travels, seeing different cultures, social media, movies, magazines. Anything weird, bold, out of the box. That'll be me!

In this current global crisis, what do you think is the importance of being a creative?

I think creatives have done a great job in uplifting peoples spirits. Whether watching them via TV, Internet, YouTube, Social Media. Watching something creative or experimenting with something with your hands and minds was absolutely a great way to buy some time and keep yourself occupied and busy during a global lockdown.

What do you hope to see and accomplish in the near future?

I am starting a project with my fiancée. We are investing in some video equipment i.e. gimbal, drone etc to film and record our son's growth, day by day, month by month, year by year. We thought it is a great way to document his childhood so he has something to look back on when he grows up. It'll be some sort of Family bonding time well spent at the same time. Nothing beats. Might share a few bits on YouTube. :)
