VESTI Holiday Styling with Hannah Tan

VESTI had a quick run in with Hannah Tan, a UK based fashion editor and travel journalist, to get some styling choices for this year’s holiday season using select VESTI bags. Hannah also shared some of her personal insights and learnings about the industry during this pandemic.

This festive season, I’m pairing my favourite VESTI Disco bags with bright and colourful pieces with a bohemian touch. After what was been a pretty difficult pandemic year, I want my style to exude positivity and joy through colourful prints, rich textures, and dynamic silhouettes. I especially love this printed silk co-ord set from Alemais, which go well with Chloe’s sherpa sliders and these multi-coloured bejewelled earrings from Monica Vinader.

For a more evening look, I’m pairing this Jacquemus bralette with a pair of sleek leather trousers and Kalda heels - the perfect outfit combination to really bring the spotlight on VESTI’s fabulously-colourful disco bags!

In my view, the pandemic has changed the way that we all consume fashion. Gone are the days of trendy fast-fashion trends which instead will be replaced with more conscious consumerism. People want to invest more valuable, high-quality items that are sustainably-produced and will last a lifetime over mass-produced goods that will only be worn for one season. At least, that’s the way I’m trying to consume to minimise my own carbon footprint.
